Detroit Children's Museum Detroit Children's Museum The Children's Museum provides children, families and adults with fun and imaginative learning experiences that encourage understanding of themselves and the world around them. Hours are 9 am to 4 Mon-Fri and on the 2nd Saturday from Oct-May. A popular feature is the Planetarium, one of the 1st to be established within the Cultural Center. Don't miss "Autumn Constellations" at 11:00 a.m. in the Planetarium with demonstrator Carrie Zaitcz. Reservations are required for all programs. Activity fees per program: $5. non-members and $3. members. General admission is free.
